CaravanningLinks

I have had the following e-mail from Rob Price a new Avondale Owner.......

I am conducting research into the problems associated with Avondale Caravans.

We are new to caravanning having purchased a new Avondale Dart last year. We have recently been invaded by a mouse resulting in expensive damage to fabrics etc as well as the attendant mess etc.

The cause is I believe due to a breach in the front bulkhead of the van which has not been sealed with vermin mesh as used on all the other holes within the van structure.

I have subsequently been contacted by other owners with the same problem- both Avondale's.

Calls to Avondale have been fruitless as the standard response would appear to be as follows.... " Our Caravans are built to specification...".

My query to them is if the vans are built to standard why not seal all the holes in the van rather than 99% of them.

If any other Avondale owners have had similar problems please contact me on the e-mail address below..

Hope you can help
